Irish stars lead the style stakes at the 2025 SAG Awards

The 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards are taking place tonight at the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, with a host of Irish stars in the running for coveted awards.

Colin Farrell and Andrew Scott are both in the running in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series category. Farrell is nominated for his role in The Penguin, while Scott is up for his turn in Ripley.

Nicola Coughlan, meanwhile, is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role in Bridgerton, the Netflix megahit.

Coughlan stunned on the red carpet wearing a baby blue gown from Christian Dior. Oozing old Hollywood glamour, the custom wrap dress features an A-line skirt, slim belt, and capped sleeves.

Styled by Aimee Croysdil, the Bridgerton star accessorised with black heels, black opera gloves, and some dazzling diamond jewellery.

Andrew Scott stepped away from his usual wardrobe of bright monochrome ensembles to wear a classic grey suit and open white shirt.

Styled by Warren Alfie Baker, the Ripley star wore full Alexander McQueen - a brand currently under the direction of Dublin designer Sean McGirr.

Colin Farrell arrived looking exceptionally dapper in a classic penguin suit. The actor will be one of the many celebrities presenting at tonight's ceremony alongside Ariana Grande, Ayo Edebiri, Bowen Yang, Colman Domingo, Cynthia Erivo, and David Duchovny.
