The 30th annual Critic's Choice Awards took place this evening in Santa Monica, as one of the first major award ceremonies to take place amid the ongoing wildfires that have been ravaging Los Angeles since 7 January.
Hosted once again by Chelsea Handler and held at the Barker Hangar, the event recognises excellence in cinema and television, with awards handed out for Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and more, all chosen by the more than 600 members who make up the CCA.
The ceremony was originally scheduled to take place on 26 January but was postponed in the aftermath of the fires. "This unfolding tragedy has already had a profound impact on our community. All our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all who have been affected," said CCA CEO Joey Berlin.

Conclave and Wicked lead the nominees in the film categories this year, having earned 11 nominations each. In the television categories, Shōgun leads the pack with six nominations.
A number of Irish stars are also in contention for awards, with Caitríona Balfe nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her leading role in Outlander. If she wins she could become the first Irish actress to win in the category.
Also up for a gong is Fiona Shaw, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Bad Sisters. If she won, it would also be a first for an Irish actress in that category.
As for the actors, Colin Farrell is nominated for Best Actor in a Limited Series / TV Movie category for his role in The Penguin, facing off against fellow Irishman Andrew Scott, who is nominated for Ripley.
Elsewhere, megastars like Angelina Jolie, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Demi Moore, Daniel Craig, Timothee Chalamet and more are in the running for awards.
As always, the event was a star-studded one, with Kate Hudson, Orlando Bloom, Ewan McGregor, Lupita Nyong'o, Sarah Michelle Gellar and more among the celebrity presenters on the night.
